Get ready for EA Sports' highly awaited College Football 25, launching on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 this July 19. A recent preview event in Orlando gave journalists and content creators a first look at the game’s exciting new features and improvements.
Fans can expect custom playbooks and an updated play menu inspired by Madden, offering a diverse and strategic gameplay experience with 134 playbooks and customizable audibles. To enhance the in-game atmosphere, real stadium songs like "Mo Bamba" and "Zombie Nation" will be featured.
Dynasty Mode reintroduces the Coaching Carousel, letting players assume the roles of head coach or coordinator. Both Dynasty and Road to Glory modes will integrate NIL deals, with Road to Glory offering five playable positions: QB, WR, RB, MLB, and CB. Players can also export their Road to Glory characters to Madden 25 Superstar.
Not all beloved features are returning, though. Mascot Mode, ESPN branding, and College Gameday are absent from this edition. Additionally, there is no cross-play for Online Dynasty, and player licensing issues prevent the porting of draft classes from College Football 25 to Madden 25 or editing real-player attributes.
College Football 25 is set to offer a thrilling and dynamic gaming experience with its emphasis on fast-paced gameplay and option offense. The game promises enhanced realism through physics-based tackling and updated passing and kicking mechanics. As the release date draws nearer, additional details are anticipated, but the already revealed features suggest an exciting game in store for players.
