There are numerous gamers who enjoy the vast expanses of space in Starfield and the dystopian future in Cyberpunk 2077. However, some players have drawn parallels between these two RPGs, with a preference for CD Projekt Red's game due to its absence of loading screens, enhanced facial animations, and more.
Cyberpunk 2077's senior quest designer, Patrick K. Mills, has grown tired of these comparisons and took to Twitter/X to advocate for Bethesda's work. Through a series of tweets and responses, he reminded players that different studios excel in different areas.
Bethesda is doing what they are known for and are exceptionally good at, according to Mills. He further added, "Criticism is acceptable, but there are design constraints that they must consider, of which the majority of critics are unaware."
