Contrary to popular belief, Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition, not Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, will be the first PS5 game to release on two discs. The Complete Edition of Horizon Forbidden West, launching on October 6th, includes the base game and the Burning Shores expansion, requiring a substantial 121GB of space, hence the inclusion of a second disc.
For those who prefer a disc-less experience, the game will also be available for digital download. Additionally, a PC version of the game will be released, but not until early 2024.
